Our girls got off to a slow start, with a very early cheeky shot on goal from Oxford which went straight into the corner of the box. 1-0 down. Shortly after, Oxford managed to get another one past our defence and keeper - an undeniable great goal.

Great midfield play from the Corby Duracells, which saw a nifty little tap into the goal from Emma Corby. Oxford broke lose and just before half time, Thame were 3-1 down. The score didn't reflect the quality of the Thame girls game. Ah no.

Some team chat from the dynamic trio today supported by Magic Mike in that sporty trench coat and uni scarf (who also doubled up as an umpire, thank you) and they went back on with some new ideas. Some fantastic defending and saves from Lucy - Eleanor had obviously also got the memo and made some great passes from our D to the top of the opposition's D - great team work on show!! Thame were fired up and before long Tilly A planted one past their goalie. Romester? was desperate not to be outdone on goal scoring and went hell for leather in the last 5 minutes but no joy.

Thame dominated the second half and took a 1-0 win but at the whistle, we went down with an unlucky 3-2 loss. Eleanor and Emma joint MOM - they worked their socks off ??. Another great game for our spectators. Well done you lovely girls ❤️?
