Oxford Tournament – How we’ve made the selections - We have 20 spaces, 2 teams -

• 2 keepers
• We had a list of around 10 who had not played a tournament at all this season - From this list we contacted the parents directly and personally to ensure they’ve been included: Of these, there were 5 who signed up for Oxford.
• All kids who played at Witney and played in the League game were excluded.
• We put the remaining kids into a hat and picked the final team
• After this event, all kids have now participated in at least 1 tournament.
• Just to reiterate, you should expect your kids to play in two tournaments a season

1) Meet at 1045 please, no later please to allow for warm up and game-plans. Game time is 11.30-13.30
2) U10 First game is TBC and we will be finished by 1345.
3) 4 Games x 10' one way - Match fee £5
4) Kit (Mandatory) - Thame Hockey Shirt, Black shorts/skirt, Light Blue Socks, Shin pads, Gum shields, Water, snacks, wet weather clothes for breaks
5) Address - Oxford Brookes Sports Centre, Cheney Ln, Oxford OX3
6) Car Parking – Headington - http://www.brookes.ac.uk/about-brookes/contacts-maps-and-campuses/headington-campus/ - Then walk over the bridge to the sport centre. Car parking at Brookes for more than 2 hours costs £3 per hour (system is back up and running). Tickets must be obtained on arrival whether only staying for the free two hours or not. OHC said sorry about this but they have no control over this.
