GU16's Thame v Reading Revels

From the start of the game Thame were in charge keeping possession and relentlessly testing Reading's defence. After 14 minutes and a melee in the D, Thame were awarded a goal. With spirits high Thame kept on the attack and it took only another 6 minutes before Amber scored to take the score line to 2-0 to Thame. Reading and Thame then swapped possession with the ball going from one end of the pitch to another with neither team converting their runs. After the half time Reading came back and found a way through our defence scoring a goal. Reading were then in charge and constantly testing our back line with some fantastic saves by Imogen. The score was then level and the game was back to end to end play with a return of some one handed dribbling (!!!!). In the last minute of the game Reading turned the play round and with a breakaway run they took the ball into the D, Thame were showing signs of tired legs and just couldn't clear the ball and Reading scored. Everyone played incredibly well and Man of the Match was Jaz.
