A brilliant afternoon on the road for the Ladies’ section, with three matches undefeated against Oxford Hawks and Abingdon in some pre-season friendlies last weekend.

The L1s secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw, with a mixed L1/L2 squad and T Brookes scoring her first goal for the 1st team. The team had some crucial goal-line defending late on that helped keep the scores level.

The L4s had a brilliant outing to Abingdon with a 6-2 victory, featuring braces from V Shaw and N Valind, plus goals from P Thomas and J Faller, whose first-ever senior penalty flick was calmly dispatched.

The L3s completed a fantastic day with an impressive 3-1 win, including a couple of outstanding saves from H Copleston with one right at the end of the match. H Gresty-Evans scored twice, with J Faller also on the scoresheet.
