Chiltern League Round 3

Long trip to Southgate in North London - Beautiful morning for Hockey. The Under 12 boys had a fantastic first game against Southgate drawing 0-0. Then onto the relegated premier team (High Wycombe) where we held them 0-0 to half time but slipped to a 3-0 loss in the second half. We then made a quick turn around and played Tring and were drawing with a respectable 1-1 scoreup until the last minute, only to be undone by a late Tring goal. So one point from 3 games.

(Great) Goal today was from Jake - His first for Thame (I think).

Great all round defending from Charlie, Lucas, Maurits, Aiden, James, Hugo :)

We were blessed with two great keepers in Zack and Barney.

So in summary, great team effort today, we executed well on various plans but were undone by better teams - We have a battle to stay in this league but hopeful we can overcome this with home advantage.
