Back to winning ways with a thumping 8-0 win!

Men’s 3rds recovered from their 1st loss of the season to record a emphatic victory against Banbury.

The match started perfectly as we scored within the first 5 minutes. We continued our dominance, finding plenty of space out wide and up top, to exploit. We scored a further 3 goals to go into half time 4-0 up.

Bit of a slow start to the second half, looked like no team was going to score, though we did have our chances.

It wasn’t until half way into the second half that we stepped up a gear. The forwards and midfield were able to open up spaces all over the place, creating a number of chances and scoring another four goals.

A hat trick a piece from Dave and Robbie and a brace from Will.

The defence worked very well together to keep Banbury out and record another clean sheet. Solid defending against the run of play and fantastic closing down of short corners. The only problem i see for the defence is if I don’t play we get clean sheets, if I do play we concede. Looks like I better hang up my pads.
