A tough day at the office for Ladies 3s

Ladies 3s had a tough day at the office today... 8-1 down to a strong Banbury side. There were a lot of positives to take away from today, despite the score. Great teamwork, with a great cross in from Nina and good positioning from Helena to get that precious goal - and a well-deserved MoM for Helena. Our defence were pressed hard on a regular basis by Banbury who were moving the ball well and found too many gaps in our midfield (sorry Ladies..!). Clara saved the day on multiple occasions, and Julie kept sweeping the ball away, but in the end we just couldn't stop some solid connections hitting the back of the net. We can hold our heads high though Ladies - it was a fun game to play, against challenging opposition, and we can learn a lot from these tougher matches. One more game this side of Christmas - and we're Home, at last!
