GU14 v Amersham & Chalfont

Another strong win for the the Thame U14 girls against a developing Amersham team who only had 10 players so firstly special thanks to Hattie, Olivia, Katie and Sophie who all kindly stepped forward to play a quarter for the opposition. Great to see the girls starting to know and hold their positions on the pitch and they were quickly rewarded with a couple of early goals from to boost their confidence. The mid field moved the ball around with Charlotte then Daisy commanding the centre of the pitch and by half time we had secured 2 further goals. After half time Amersham made some advances but sterling work by Becs and Lizzie and some dominant positioning from Lucy in goal meant they couldn’t secure a goal and Thame returned to strength with 2 further goals. POM by Amersham was Charlotte and then Daisy, Becs and Izzy all shared the team stick award! I think the goals were scored by Sophie, Ava, Sophie, Amelia off Josie, Amelia and Erin but with many sticks in the D and contributions from all so apologies if I missed someone as I lost my piece of paper!
