Thame started well however we always seem to be on the back foot in the first half. From the first Bicester pushback the girls got stuck in and were upsetting Bicester's game, intercepting ball after ball however once in possession we could not seem to make the passes count. After a fairly even first 10 minutes Bicester broke away and seem to gain the upper hand. Thame kept clearing the ball but Bicester kept coming back and it was not long until they found the back of the goal. The tempo of the game changed and our girls were starting to deal with a different type of game and I had to dig the first aid kit out for the first time this season! The girls were stoic in their attitude and did not give up even when they were sprawled on the floor. It was not long before Bicester were adding to the goals and by the end of the first half we were 4-0 down and the first aid kit was making another appearance! The half time talk and 'Snowmen babies' were obviously just what the doctor ordered and the second half was a totally different game. Thame dominated the pitch and the ball was constantly in our attacking half and was a thrilling match to watch. Some great teamwork down the left hand side and Emma's amazing runs down the right kept the game alive however we just couldn't find the back of the goal and so the second half ended with neither team scoring. Every single player should be proud of the part that they played today as without even one of you the score line could have been a lot worse. Final Score 0-4. MOM Emma C.
