Thame Hockey Club Men’s T2 Summer League

Entry fees are due by the end of the first week of the league (by 10 th May 2024).
The aim of the league is fun and competitive summer hockey.
Players should generally be playing North Division 5 and lower to take part.
Players must be aged 13 and above.
Each team needs to provide one umpire for each of their games.
Please feel free to use the summer league to develop juniors or umpires for the season
ahead.
Each team will play 7 games, in a round robin format.
Each team must fulfil all their fixtures. Failure to play a match will result in a £70 fine
which will be paid to the opposition to cover the cost of their entry fee for the game not
played.
Matches will be played on a Tuesday or a Wednesday evening, every week between
Tuesday 7 th May and Wednesday 26 th June at Marlow Sports Club, Pound Lane, Marlow,
SL7 2AH.
Matches will be played at either 7pm or 8.20pm and will consist of two halves of 30
minutes each way with 5 minutes for half time. Timings for pitch access etc can be seen
below.
Games must be started promptly as the floodlights will automatically switch off at 9.30pm.
If the first match is delayed for any reason, it must still finish by 8.05pm to enable the
next match to start on time.
I would recommend parking in the car park furthest from the entrance, past the
clubhouse, leaving the front car park free for cricketers.
Toilets and changing facilities available on site in the clubhouse.
The pitch and clubhouse will be left unlocked by the previous junior sessions (which
should finish by 6pm)
The upstairs bar in the clubhouse will be open following your matches.
